After submitting my resume for the Global Finance and Business Management full time position at JP Morgan (my dream job!), I got a HireVue invite the next day! However, I completed it 9 days ago and still have no response....
When do we get a response in average, and after how much time does it mean I probably am not getting an offer to continue?
Thanks!

I'm seeing the same on all the job boards. WFH seems dead, hybrid a rarity, full time on site the norm. I never thought I'd want to go back to the pandemic era, but damn to I miss when every job was fully remote.
Being honest I am one of these that has a side hustle and I take time out of my day for it. But my current job is so flexible with it and they know about it. It works really well
It’s about office real estate and older generation. Productivity is an excuse.
You are correct
A lot are 4 days a week being called hybrid. Thats not hybrid, 2.5 days is hybrid.
Pro
Totally agree. Fridays wfh is not hybrid at all. It’s just a way to get the adverts to show if people put hybrid in the filter I reckon!
Well, you have some exemplars of WFH/remote and hybrid bragging on tiktok and other social media how amazing their life is working for a beach sipping latte and screw it up for the rest of us. If that wasn't enough, You would think with all the alarm bells ringing about climate change since 1998, employers weren't just doing lip service on reducing their carbon footprint but would push for remote work but then you even have local governments wanting return to office to keep their local economies around businesses and offices running.
Pro
Absolutely! Look at the Covid times for example, the world changed, nature came back to life. It’s so sad to see that the people at the top just want to continue ignoring climate change and just feeding their pockets.
Yes totally with you about the influencers and remote working. It sets just a bad example of what WFH actually is like.
Sometimes I will work longer at home than in the office!
I couldn't agree more. I am significantly more productive when secluded vs. constantly being "walked up on" for mostly social interactions having nothing to do with work. Old fashioned backwards thinking that 100% in office is more productive is quite antiquated.
Pro
I’ve been noticing that as well. Personally, I’m a direct hindrance to everybody’s productivity when I’m in the office. I socialize way too much and tend to recruit people for side quests whenever I get the chance.
Pro
Me too!! I can yap like there’s no tomorrow. I am so unproductive when I work in the office. Whereas at home I pop a podcast on and I can lock in and focus!
It's the Pareto principle in action. Business know that 20% of the workforce produces 80% of the revenue. Going back to the office could be a win for a few, but a death march for others.
How dare a company want their employees to work in the office! I can’t believe anyone would want that.
I can’t believe that you all are still complaining about having to go to work.
Yes, and it makes absolutely no sense. I’ve been working at home since 2019 before the Covid thing happened and in 2023 I moved from Colorado back to Florida and the company I work for went out of business so I had to find another job while I actually took a job in the office at turbo debt ended up getting Covid type B flu pneumonia in December 2023 and I quit the job and found me another work at home job but I am literally can just see they’re trying to phase us out
I never had to work remote even during COVID. We were always in the office, but then I got fired after over 16 years..The only thing I can really find was hybrid or remote. I never thought I would like a remote job but now I am enjoying it after I found one 3 months later. The freedom that it gives me, the less hassle of having to glad hand around the office or watch what I say is great.
