I have no consulting experience and I have accepted an internship offer at an advertising firm for this summer. What steps would you advise me to take to get into consulting? Also, I get to pick between strategy and accounts for the internship - would either be more useful?

Hi fishes, I have recently attended an interview with Accenture India Accenture couple of days back and can see the candidature status is on hold after my 1st round of interview. Does this mean that they are waiting for others to complete their interview or am I rejected? If not ,how many days they tak appxm to make a decision. My company allows contributions to both traditional (pre-tax) and Roth (post-tax) 401k. Is it better to split my contributions between the two? For example, I could contribute 3% to Roth and 3% to traditional (my employer matches up to 6% total but that can only goes to traditional)

I grew up very poor. I get extreme anxiety and shame when I spend money above $20. Deep down I feel like I should scrounge and save every penny. I use bath towels that are 10 years old and threadbare cause I can't bring myself to buy a "luxury item" despite making oodles of money and have a ton saved and invested.
