Definitely not useless. It’s worth it for the business acumen/ analysis side. It’s just not technically focused. It’s apples and oranges to the app builder.

App Builder holds more value. BA cert is easy and doesn’t require that much studying tbh.
Imo the BA cert is more so for new comers into SF. Good for learning the fundamental skills of how to consult per se, but otherwise it’s just there to pad your cert count like the certified associate
It's a good way to brand yourself as an "add on" cert, but it's not nearly as useful as a technical/specialist cert
BA cert is kind of just a sparkle on your resume. Doesn't mean much. IMO still important to take to show you know diagrams (I guess) if you are under 3 years of SF experience.
