We're looking for a Senior AD who wants to produce lots of TV with crazy talented writers, a great REMOTE work-life balance and very few layers. You'll have access to C level daily. Most briefs are one, sometimes two teams and you'll produce what gets bought. Sound good?
If so please send your CV to Jsimotics@digobrands.com.

Wow, these companies are sure eggar to have their top performers quit and during their busiest time of year to
They are definitely not over staffed. Theres articles out there why accounting is dropping like crazy in college. Everyones joining consulting side.
Perfect time to implement it:
1) All firms are sufficiently staffed at the lower levels because of increased campus hiring the last few years and lower turnover than expected.
2) There are less industry jobs offering full remote than there are people who want them.
3) The economic uncertainty makes it likely that retention will skyrocket already
4) If layoffs are needed the people who don’t show up give the partners a list of people to start the layoffs with.
Literally what my lead partner said would happen 18 months ago: once economic uncertainty hits, force people back because if they quit it’s a good thing.
SA3 — exactly. There is a shortage of people at experienced senior and manager. But there’s also less concern about them leaving because if they stayed during the great resignation, likely to stay now when the economy isn’t as strong.
Seniors Managers and partners want us in the office… boomers don’t even show up and when they do, all they do is joke around and tease as if we don’t have any work to do. Going o the office is such a waste of time and resources
D3 yeah no… I get wayyy more done home and be chillin with no distractions and office politics
Hybrid work is going to happen. You can already see all the Big 4 implementing this. That and a lot of fully remote industry jobs are filling up or turning to 2-5 days in office too.
People will leave but eventually there will be no where else to go.
I for one am for this. Too many associates have been slacking and getting away with poor work.
And IDC about those who want to give anecdotes about how your team pulled it off. In aggregate the associates/Senior we have are not developing. Those who stay will stay and in 3 years we will be talking about this fully remote experience like it was 10 years ago.
Boomer alert
Chief
I swear this return to office thing is rich white Boomers upset and feeling like they've lost some form of control over staff, and hoping that an economic downturn is their chance to force us back in line.
EY 3 I don’t know what you’re talking about. I don’t know a single EY leader (of any race) who wants RTO.
good way to force headcount attrition for any bloated service lines
I mean I hope PwC looks into this bc I need some in person action
Everyone is mad
Not everyone on this thread is national. Point is - people are going to find ways to complain. If things were going perfectly, we wouldn’t be having this discussion. If you don’t want to do this - there are other jobs out there that are remote
What’s most surprising is that I haven’t seen anyone from BDO offering a referral here
Lmaooo
Can yall clutch your pearls any harder?
I’m 100% ok with return to work but if that is what we are doing, our firms need to stop being out there saying employees can work where they want and when they want. You can’t have it both ways.
Honestly, yeah lol. If I’d have to be onsite in 2021 and 2022, I would have left as an A2. I think remote made it easier for people like me who don’t have the grit to make it through B4 to stay.
Do they have enough desk space for everyone to attend on the same day? I think its highly unlikely...
No and It’s not even close.
KPMG also required 3 days in office per week. Will be a factor in year end review and bonus
In the mid south BU, they were starting to strongly encourage 2-3 days a week in office. This was for audit
My personal take on this is leadership sees the balance of power shifting back to the employer from the employee with a looming recession and see this as a way to bring people back to the office.

This whole work in office is insane. It started with these IBD firms asking people to go back in office, where the entire culture of IB resolves around prestige, IBD gets treated like kings and queens in an investment bank. This culture won’t last if everyone is wfh, there is no one acknowledging their “prestige” if no one is there. When everyone is wfh, everyone is at the same level.
Now in an accounting firm not sure why they want us back. There is no prestige here, especially now with so much transparency with pay, work environment and etc. who wants to be an accountant anymore? it doesn’t make sense for us to be going back to office but of course SM and partners want everyone to be back in the office is because SM is so close to MD or partnership, it’s when you actually make good money. After grinding 12+ years for nickels per hour don’t you want to make some good money?
Copium
Why is this considered a bad thing?
2 hours total commute so back and forth but most people in bay area dont live in sf city and commute into work.
