Is EY a good company for a data engineer with 5 YOE . I am currently working with publicis sapient and I didn't like the projects culture here, mostly the projects are short term and no one knows when the project would end , it can happen any time and we need to search for other one . Is this the same case with EY? If yes what's their bench policy? How safe is it to join EY on the basis of Job security and WLB?

A friend of mine from a top tier consulting firm was counseled out. Do you consider it ethical that his career counselor is intentially spreading the information to his colleagues and to other consultants from other companies in the project? What can he do about it? Specially that he considers the potential layoff is purely based on the current situation (chargeability was low) and not on his performance (they said that his contribution to BD during his bench time was low)?

Junior associate here (2L). Got some ‘constructive feedback’ from a 4L. We went over budget on a matter, and 4L thinks it has something to do with my inefficient delegation to 0Ls (and not the all the out of scope work the client asked us to do but doesn’t want to pay for...). Delegated tasks included basic grunt work like splitting out documents, preparing execution versions and other low-level tasks. 4L asked me to check with them before I delegate anything in the future. Thoughts?
