Yeah mine as an S3 was 4k and I heard managers were 5k
Why not? Because they pay less if it is targeted. That is pretty obvious.
Only S3s might come close to M1 with a 10% bonus

got 20k signing bonus. pushing for $30k. will hear back this week. if they aprove be out.
I mean I’m getting a skills bonus, but it’s no where near what a milestone bonus would be. It’s not as if I’m getting 10k.
they should call it what it is buying loyalty, not skills bonus. many of those getting it aint got skills beyond what ur average joe has.
Let me get this straight- you got a signing bonus in a lateral move and are angry the firm is paying a retention bonus to people not to leave? Ok….
Honestly every senior we had has left this year. We just hired several laterals and I’m happy to have the help. I don’t care what they make. I also know that there is no senior making the same as me even with a large bonus, but this isn’t what I’m worrying about.
I’m not sure what it is about B4, but people really worry about others make out better than them financially without understanding the factors that actually go into determining comp.
