Which one to choose between Optum and Tiger Analytics for Data Scientist position? Where can I expect better data science domain expertise (In my previous companies I found very less understanding of Data Science practices as team)? Heared good things about both of these. Also hearing Tiger is expanding rapidly and getting some crap projects as well in the name of data science. Could someone put light on these things?

The higher ups should be the ones taking a pay cut for the sake of their people. Anyone making over $200,000 should have a pay hold to make $200,000 max for the duration of this thing. Will save the company so much money
Transparency would be a good thing. This is a national crisis and a health crisis too. The more people lose their homes, the more people move around from lace to place, the worse the health crisis gets. Pay cuts across the board are a way better solution for times like this. Public and private sector need to work together to make sure more people can make enough to keep food on the table and a roof overhead. This means pay cuts instead of layoffs, it means the banks being told that in exchange for the 2008 bailout they are going to have to defer mortgage payments or refinance for lower salaries. This is all stuff a functioning government would be discussing. It is a shame we don’t have one.
I might be wrong but I don’t think one person getting a pay cut will make a big enough difference in their books. Unless you make a billion dollars.
Have you heard that BBDO is doing layoffs?
Hopefully they give you the option of a pay cut before they axe you.
Ex-BBDO’er here. Omnicom doesn’t do pay cuts.
Everything is so unprecedented that anything is possible.
Sounds like bbdo nervous
For what it's worth, Omnicom did pay cuts when I worked there (10 years ago)
