Really afraid that MBAs will go back to remote and that I will waste the opportunity to get the time of my life
Recently joined a firm remotely and was curious how other firms are on-boarding remotely for their new hires? Mine has been seamless so far, but IT has been a drag getting remote access to everything
Any firms that have made the "work from home" decision yet? We've been getting preparation notices for weeks but not officially given the signal.
How open is EY to remote work?
I’m in my 4th week of WFH. For everybody having a hard time being isolated, things get better per week ✨
I joined Deloitte in 19’ and don’t buy into the circlejerk that seems to go on both for / against the company - I like being a part of the firm but am underwhelmed with where the recent compensation cycle resulted. I have an opportunity with a small business to get a roughly $45k salary increase, but would have 2 sacrifice the security of Deloitte, wfh and paternity leave, which will come into play this fall as we have a baby due in November. Anyone make a similar switch before or havethoughts?
First year Paralegal here - graduated from a small liberal arts school and have been working in the corporate practice at a well ranked firm. The majority of my experience has been working in private funds, financings, some M&A, and limited Real Estate work. I think I enjoy the idea of a few years in big law after law school to pay off loans (undergrad+law school), but am not sold b/c I have been remote since I started in January and rarely get to interact live with deal teams. How can I tell?
How much travelling do you think consulting will be post covid19? More remote or back to normal
I think I found my wfh setup…
Just started my first post-college job, based in nyc: assuming the office doesn’t open for the next 12+ months, should I continue wfh at my parents house in the middle of nowhere and save $30k over the course of the year (but basically throw away a year of my social life), or move to nyc in a few months w some roommate friends? How’s the city looking nowadays?

Hi everyone! I just got a new entry level job at an agency that I’m really excited about. I was wondering if anyone has any advice on how to stand out, find mentors, and grow in a 100% wfh environment?
Any recommendation of good apt for rent outside of city limits? I will be WFH often so no need to live in the city proximity such as Arlington. Looking for around $1,200 for 1bd 1 bath
My wife is planning a family vacation to a remote place with no cell service and very limited WiFi. I will need occasional access to email. Has anyone dealt with a similar situation? What did you do?
WFH today and answered a conference call while taking a shit. Accidentally had the video on.
Team is working remote next week, kinda feel sad that I won’t be able to see that cute colleague for a week now. What’s wrong with me?! Any relates?

And also if it's a critical data project like of banking what are the chances that they will ask for work from office at client location even if it's WFH these days? YOE: 5.5 years Technology: ETL development
For those that joined consulting post-MBA, do you wish you had started earlier or do you feel it was the right time? 2 years in and wondering if I should commit to another 3 years for B-school...
Fishes over in LA pond. I'm heading out to the west coast and looking for places to apply to. Has any LA shops recently won a new client pitch?
If anyone is looking for a job working in RSM's tax financial services group that has experience in either Private Equity, Hedge Funds, or Venture Capital space send me a message. Please have a resume for me to review and then I can get you setup for an interview. I am based on Los Angeles, but I am not concerned about location, as we need people in this space all throughout the firm. I spent 13 years with the big four before making the move and it was the best decision I have made.
Should I open a 529 or a taxable brokerage account? Might go get an MBA down the line, but also would hopefully be with a company that would pay for it.
Favorite investment (stock or ETF) at this point in time? Made a killing buying Fortune Brands at the end of April, it would be fun to hear thoughts on other “COVID Recovery” picks
Anyone have perspectives on Actinium Pharmaceuticals? Have an interview with them coming up…
How many people are waiting for bonuses before leaving their current firms? I’m at PwC and our bonus will be given on 10/1. I’m pretty sure my entire team between director and senior plan to start interviewing after 9/15 or 10/15. Are there any other firms who have yet to pay out bonuses yet? Wondering how hard it will be to find something in a couple of months.
7 years of Consulting experience in Financial Services and currently a manager with a Big 4 . Experience includes Feasibility Assessments, CBAs, Program Management, SDLC (All phases),
Anyone here living in luxury buildings (laundry in unit, pool, gym) in LIC that could recommend theirs? Bonus if you could chime in on Arc or Tower 28! Thanks!
Applied for an SM position at pwc and interviewers mentioned that it is for an SM position as well. But the offer came out as M. Recruiter said it is just a title and doesn’t have any implications but more I look, it does look like an downgrade. Is this common? I am currently an SM and it is in tech consulting area.
Looks like my credits score/history is screwed as I was away from US for 3 years. I have no loans and only 1 credit card. They couldn’t increase the limit beyond 6K. What do I need to do to come back in the good books?
Self 25F and spouse 31M - no kid yet but planning to in the near term. Just got quoted for life insurance $70 and $100/ month for each 2M coverage. Is the quote reasonable?
Are the layoffs finished? Or are they still going on? I am trying to figure out if I in the green for now.

If I get a CFA but have zero experts in investing or portfolio management, will the Charter, alone, get me a job? If so, what would my expected salary be? I’m 40 yrs old with 14 yrs of public sector Defense Budget experience making $102K now for a Big 4.
Submitted my resume to PwC for an experienced hire role – how long does it typically hear to get back?
