Does anyone ever get pitch work produced?
I have an offer from Walmart but I'm also interviewing at Meta. I'm midway through the Meta process but there's still a long way to go and I don't want to rush through it unprepared. Both are for a Data Scientist position. Any suggestions on how to deal with a situation like this? Walmart Facebook (Meta)

That’s extremely low, I would find a new job or negotiate into 6 figures
LOW - and a disgrace to the profession
Omg that’s low as hell. Is that 40 hours/week? You’re being lowballed. What kind of company is this? If it’s independent with low volume, I could see that but stand your ground and say no or find another job.
I wouldn’t work retail if they paid 140k personally
Even $50/hr (assuming 40hr/week) would be 104k. That’s definitely a lowball offer.
That seems extremely low in my opinion. I’ll lived and worked in markets with medium to low cost of living and never once dropped below $50/hour. My starting salary was roughly around 91K (full time was only 34 hours) and that was in the Missouri just to compare cost of living. I should add that I worked as a tech and intern throughout pharmacy school and then signed on as a pharmacist with the same company.
That’s extremely low unless it’s not a full time position
Walgreens is giving out up to 75k in a sign on bonus lol you can do better
ask for hourly rate then do the math
CVS is offering a $100K bonus if you’re willing to move to Indiana
The two big retail giants are giving 75-100K sign-on bonuses, so 70K sounds like they don’t know the market value for a pharmacist. I am assuming a full 40-hour week, that's 33/hr. The last time I heard, Wag was 45/hr starting, which was the end of 2021. Now since a lot of pharmacists have left Wag and CVS, that number has gone up. I wouldn’t take 33/hr.
Way to low. What’s the hours/week? Is this full time?
Where is this located? And before we go any further you should definitely not except that offer. I heard couple of years before the pandemic some new pharmacists were get $42.72/hr and now companies are offering that in sign on bonuses alone

If full time, no, that is low.
Extremely low. Honestly I’m at $53/hr and even that to me is low considering i have 7 years experience and a one year community residency. Unless you’re desperate for a job don’t take anything less than $50. I would even try for $55/hour. I’ve heard Walgreens is offering $55/hr to start plus a potential sign on bonus. I would consider switching to Walgreens, but I personally refuse to work at a chain unless absolutely necessary. Just a preference on my part though.
