Move dilemma:
Currently @ Arthur D. Little Limited Dubai as SE Manager w/ base comp of 285k $ + 10-15% bonus. Vert limited fit w/ people & projects in the region (MEI) & not motivated by seniors. Not happy w/ the job but good WLB. Very likely to promote to Pr which would include a 20-30% jump in total comp but shift to more variable
Move to MBB as PL. Projects & people are supposed to be great and he could see himself in the long run. Comp is 170k $ + 60% bonus. Will take 1.5y to move to Pr

Honestly, for me, I love the CSR just because of how much falls under their 3x points, and how easy it is to redeem points. It’s hard to beat as an all in one card
100% worth it even with the increase. The Lyft program alone made it worth it for me. I’m more worried about the longevity of the Lyft partnership (it’s only for one year).
Seeing a lot of people question it with the recent increase in the annual fee. It went to $550 and added additional benefits with Lyft and Doordash.
The answer obviously depends on what you spend and redeem on.
That said, CSR is still great for high-spending lifestyles because of the high-value earn categories and the 50% accelerator on travel redemptions through their portal. Just a bit less than it used to be.
WF Propel is a great low-commitment travel/dining card. Strong rewards earn and no fee, but no trip delay/cancelation insurance and less valuable travel redemptions compared to the Chase cards.
Citi Double Cash and Amex Blue Cash Preferred are great easy cash back cards if youre not into optimizing too much.
