Hi Fishes, Sometime back I was interviewed for Technical Support Job role in my domain. T1 went well. T2, in my understanding was better only (not great like T1 but not blunder. I felt it was nice and i replied majority of questions). They released the feedback after 10 days with "Not Positive". I am not totally sure with feedback as I replied majority of questions correct. I am being bit curious with "Microsoft" tag. What can be the reason?
Discussion appreciated.

Well leadership failed to acknowledge and invest in internal processes and policy.
There should be required turnaround times to process first contact, to follow up to phone interview 1, phone interview 2, in person, and then offer extension.
Recruitment is a joke, EYU is a joke, ACP is a joke and staffing is a joke because there is no accountability.
Yes
Yes, could take 6 months from first contact to Onboarding, at least 3
Lol.. My interview scheduling process was fairly quick, but when I got to the office no one was there to greet me, and the partner I was interviewing had to get me himself (cause the recruiter was MIA).. My friend who referred me still hasn't gotten his bonus and it's been over a month
No longer at EY
I see PC1 all over FB. Full of good knowledge, Should deff just start posting with a name. Could easily build up a good brand like RDT.
We are pretty bad - unless you know a partner pushing from the inside.
Yes, we've even had new hires show up for the first day and no one knew they were coming.
So would you say that HR accurately reflects the firm? 😂 but really, is shitty HR an accurate representation of the rest of the firm?
It's a joke but I got a free trip to Chicago out of it so whatever
EY internal highlights how poor the processes and procedures are. Internal doesn't really support delivery, most of it is just wasted overhead.
No, I don't think HR accurately represents the firm. I think those of us that are client-facing are disappointed that HR is who's representing us when it comes to recruiting and hiring. They give impressions like you currently have, and it doesn't help us at all.
Lol pretty true ^. What practice are you in PC1?
Where did you move to?
Im not that active, my title is adopted by a few different smaller firms
Yes. They schedule interviews in the middle of the week and if you cannot make it, they ghost you and you never hear back.
Ugh thanks everyone, I won't place too much thought into this recruiting process then!
