Hi Fishes, I am bit confused to pick the role in KPMG lighthouse as Sr Cloud Data architect or Saama technology as a Project lead. Money wise it is not a big difference. In KPMG I will work with partner where as in saama I will work with project/program manager. Please suggest your opinion. Saama KPMG KPMG India

I love it. Especially in the time we’re in, it has provided more stability for me. There’s a different set of problems and politics of course, but I do not miss the agency drama. It can be more dry. There can be a lot of red tape. Overall though i am so glad I made the switch.

I made the switch and love it. The work and the benefits are superior. You don’t as often work with as creative minded people which can make things dry but it also exposes you to a whole different side of the business. My hours are also pretty consistent and find I’m not rushing as much and have way more flexibility.
Love the client side. The work is more rewarding, and actually helps bring in leads and make the company money. You get to drive strategy vs throwing shit over the fence and hoping it sticks. There's always work to do, and I think we work way longer hours in COVID. But I love my job, so don't mind (right now anyway). Better benefits. Less drama. I don't have a lot of red tape at my company either, think that depends on how large the org is. I'm in SaaS too, which might be why they're so open to trying new things. I'm NEVER going back.
Totally depends. Feast or famine? Sure there are busy times and slow times, but you don’t have to chase down work.
Also, grass is always greener. That’s why the idiom exists.
Curious what client side comms roles titles would be?
