What's the floating holiday policy in Accenture ? If I joined in April 21, how many floating holiday can I avail before 31st December ?

I have been offered a position in-house at a $500M-$1B company, mid-sized city LCOL, 10 YOE in private practice. They offered me $120k, w opp for undefined discretionary bonus. No paid parental leave or 401(k) match & only 1 week PTO in first year (but claim they have discretion for more). Is there any way to salvage this? Salary guides suggest TC should be around $200-215k. I want to get my foot in the door but this seems crazy low.

Supervisor said I couldn’t have week off for vacation this summer bc another coworker of higher seniority asked off the same week and two people can’t go on vacation at the same time because of staffing. Are there recruiters who specialize in or have opportunities in non practicing attorney or jd preferred roles? I don’t want to litigate anymore but I really need help finding a non practicing role. I wonder if there are recruiters who do this.

Recently decided I want to leave big law this year. I would prefer to go in-house, but would be open to government or mid-sized. That said, I am struggling to network in DC as I have worked in Dallas until February (same firm, but moved here because my fiancée got a job here). I’ve been doing corporate/M&A for 2.5 years. Let's talk legal recruiting. It seems potentially lucrative, but also saturated and very difficult to stand out other than on existing reputation. To that end, (1) how do you break in as a practicing attorney, (2) what skills and experience are useful for good recruiters, and (3) what are compensation ranges? Assume a major market.

Anyone quit their job without another job lined up? Considering this option and luckily smart with savings so not an issue financially for at least a year. But curious to hear others thoughts? I hate what I’m doing and it’s just not worth waking up everyday filled with dread and stress anymore. Tried applying to jobs but running low on steam and just need a reset to really figure out what I want to do next.

So, I've tried a few different positions and still hate practicing law BUT I was approached about a contract role that won't have billable hour requirements and I won't be steeped (I think) into the law firm's toxicity, so I'm wondering if it could be the closest thing to a 9 to 5 for law. Pay is hourly which seems weird, but I would have time to devote to hobbies and life generally. Has anyone been tempted by or accepted these contract opportunities, and what's your hot take?
