First American Financial Corporation I have attended two rounds of interview in First American Finan Company last week and have received an email that I have been selected in their interview process. The talent acquisition team did not send me an offer letter instead have sent me a BGC form which I submitted yesterday. I found it very strange as usually first offer letter is rolled out and then BGC check happens if the candidate accepts the offer. Today there was no communication. Can anyone tell me if they faced this situation?TIA

I didn’t expect tie from the candidates I interviewed. Many people even seem to dress “smart casual”. Personally think suit, no tie up top and only underwear is the way to go
But also I’m in industry now if that makes a difference
No one pays attention, case in point the question literally says dress💩 and blazer and no one mentioned it . So no don’t wear a tie
I’d expect a shirt but everything more is not necessary. Tie might even look a bit out of touch with work today but I’m sure there are pockets where it’s still the expectation
You’re a guy? Depends on level, but you’re pretty safe wearing a pressed dress shirt. This is sufficient.
Tie would be overkill. If the other person is wearing a tie say “I’m so sorry, I didn’t realize this interview was meant to be business professional attire”. Say it with grace and show you are unflappable. They will likely say “don’t worry, I am only wearing this because I have a board meeting today”.

Nobody on the other side will be wearing a suit. If they are you don’t want to with them (unless you really like suits).
I wore a plain black Tshirt for most except the partner round wear I wore a checkered smart casual shirt
Business casual is fine. That’s what those of us interviewing are wearing for the most part
Thanks guys. Not wearing ties on interview anymore
In general I’d say do a white shirt and a blazer. Never overkill and is also the same formal equivalent. I’ve interviewed folks in ties before and while it doesn’t factor into my decision. If I hired you I’d make you wear a tie for all at home meetings
