Is working on weekends expected? Or is it just a once-in-a-while deal, depending on if it's crunch time

Does anyone here work for any public accounting firms in the Charlotte area with a decent work life balance? I am looking to go somewhere where I can focus on a few clients for longer periods of time rather than constantly bouncing around. I find it much less stressful to put in longer hours if it's a client that I have been scheduled on long term.

I am an Senior iOS developer. YOE is 8.5. Currently getting 13 LPA. Getting promotion in a month with 25 to 30 percent hike which comes nearly 16.8 LPA. Working Moms/Dads: Do in-house positions exist with flex time hours? I need to be able to leave work at 4pm to pick up my son from daycare, but i can get back online at home to resume any unfinished work at 8pm. I'm a little confused on Danko - does he offer a self-study option for the coursework requirement? On his website it looks like each module has a 4-day virtual class which I wouldn't be able to attend due to working full time. Does this program also include self-study material, and the classes are just supplementary/optional? I was also looking at Dalton for self-study and Danko for test prep. Thoughts?
