Jobhunting def sucks and it's the hardest with no experience, but 3 months isn't the end! Don't give up! Totally normal to need like 6 mos to find something, not a reflection of you
It took me 2 years to get a job. 8 internships. It was tough at the time, but I wouldn’t change it as I learned so much. Hang in there!
It’s a very tough market three months is not long . Keep going you will get there .
Rising Star
It took me 8 months to find my first job out of school. And that was 25 years ago.
I don’t have a job for you but happy to give feedback on your portfolio if you want to dm it. And drop your link in the portfolio review bowl if you want feedback from a few more people
I know people 6-8 months into the job search with 5+ years of experience and amazing portfolios 🥲 it’s rough out there!
It took me 5 months before I got my first internship in my industry
I was going to add. I remember it taking a year to land a good internship. 6 months is now the norm unfortunately for everyone. Keep pushing & tailoring.
Where are you based?
Dallas, but not opposed to relocating, so I’ve been applying all over US.
same here same here. on my 3rd agency internship bc 'no budget rn'
Internships might not be exactly what you are looking for, but it’s a great way to learn and put your foot in the door. The market sucks now, don’t give up.
I feel for you. Took me some time. I worked every angle to eventually get a foot in the door. And that can come in many different type of jobs. My advice is to consider several paths into the eventual job you aim to have.
