I’ve been approached by a Capgemini recruiter for a role in their tech consulting group. I know CG is less prestigious than Deloitte but I’m tempted by opportunity to increase base comp by 25% (I know not to trust bonus % any recruiter dangles), and move from Deloitte M to CG Director (E1).

Guys, my friend had her last working day last week and she thinks she forgot to fill her timesheet for her last 2 days before handing over the laptop. What can be the consequences of this? She is really worried about this
P.S she belongs to a back end team serving the firm internally charging time on only one code.

Any one who works or worked with Attra?
Cisco interviewed me for 3 months for a couple of roles and then offered me comp that is considerably less than my current comp for a product manager role!! They also said its cisco policy to not offer rsu for mcol cities. Rsu is apparently only meant for candidates in hcol cities.
Need to punch a bag every day for several days to get over this bs.

I have not moved to CG, but if the money is there and the work is something you'll enjoy, it's a no brainer. Prestige is almost entirely an imaginary concept, so just follow the money and you'll be fine.
Director at Cap is pretty much the same as director at Deloitte so it's definitely a step up. You would skip a SM role at Cap which is good. I would argue prestige point. Probably Deloitte is perceived as more prestigious but at the same time also has a bunch of scandals and controversies like all big 4. Cap is much more ethical brand with better corporate responsibility.
You’ll hate your life there. So happy to have left for Deloitte.
Puh-lease! Money talks and the rest walks.
Always go for the money. Prestige won’t get you closer to that FIRE goal.
E1 is mostly sales focused versus mostly delivery focused. If you’re ready to perform in a heavy sales role versus just sales support, then by all means, take the pay raise and come join. If you’re coming as a Director, it must be the Invent group. Are you strategy or implementation?
Invent NA has poor quality projects (ton of staff aug) but you should go if you want the pay
Glad and sad? It really depends on which group you would be joining.
Thanks for these responses. Got some evaluating to do.
Are you NA or UK? Invent is a wildly different proposition based on geography.
If U.K. then PM me. I’ll happily give you a no crap overview. I’ve been with invent >5yrs and previously briefly at D.
In US, but thanks.
