I’ve been at a post house for the past 4 years (NYC), and an agency for 4 years prior to that. I’ve hit a wall at my company so I’m seriously considering jumping to freelance at the start of 2023. I’m in commercial/short-form. Looking for staff gigs too but I don’t really have the clout or client roster that would get me into one of the top edit shops. I have a decent reel with some big brands/celebs/etc. Any tips/advice?
