Any good options?
Bain & Company Bain & Company Do you have any insights into what they are expecting in the second (last) round? I saw that there are two cases and a presentation. Are they more interested in professionalism than the "analytical" skills assessed in the first round? Do you have any more insights into the presentation?
Many thanks in advance

This is risky at 3yo and going on a 3rd role in house. It’s also an example of why it’s often a mistake to go in house so junior. $130k for 3rd year is very low. Your best bet is to stick it out for 2 years and then be very careful about where you go next - you should be making much more with 4yo. For reference, I made $185k base with 20% bonus as a 4th year and that wasn’t even super competitive.

Thanks. That’s good to know!
What's your background? Just these two jobs? What type of work do you do?

I am an in house counsel. First (first lawyer position IHC) was for SaaS company privacy and cybersecurity heavy transactional tasks which I loved but I left because of low pay. Current role, still IHC, but it is mostly reseller agreement not touching privacy and data protection too much. I am just really feeling conflicted because the current company is not in tech field. Also company is not compliant with cybersecurity standards…! Feel like I am hopping too much, but at the same I am feeling the urge to hop again after only 1 year.
How low was the pay for your first job? Seems a little short sighted leaving a privacy role given your tech goals.
With two 1-year stints, you risk looking like a job hopper. You can try applying, but I'd stay put at your current role for maybe another year for optics. Why do you want to work in tech? I don't think commercial work will be any less boring there.

It might take you over a year to find something as the tech market continues to go down hill. I’ve been interviewing for 2 years straight.

I got an interview offer from one tech company for $160k base salary with equity, good benefits. I am torn between take it or keep working at my current company ($120k base with benefits pushed to total comp $130k-ish) I just want to make premature decision and have a bunch pf 1.5 years of experiences on my resume. What’s your target role, industry, and salary? I am surprised to hear that it is taking that long to land a job that you are targeting for
