I've been interviewing for over a year as I want to switch. I went through interview process of many big firms ... Akamai, Microsoft, bain and co, Deloitte etc. But did not get a single offer.

I'm thinking of quitting from current firm, they don't have any data science work and asking me to do python development.

Final round! Panel interview w an assignment to present some ideas on how to increase customers for 1 of 5 key audience segments.
I’m most familiar with 1 as it’s the audience I work with at current job. Not enough info/experience with other 2 segments. Remaining segments I know enough but not as confidently.

Will it look like I took the easy way out if I chose my segment? They know it’s my current audience and has been for 8 yrs. Would love to hear your thoughts!
