I’ve been setting boundaries for myself (logging off early to get kid from daycare, not dialing into every meeting, limiting weekend work)…. And now I feel like I’m getting cut out of things. Pitches I’ve been integral in leave me out of final reviews. My boss makes hiring decisions for my team without me. Im struggling with whether I should be paranoid or embrace this. How would you handle? Im still a high producer working my ass off, my old schedule was not sustainable….

So much workload here.. working almost 12-16hrs a day.. planing to leave..

Working from home in customer support provides so much flexibility as a stay at home mom. I can take care of the home, my babies and work without feeling guilty ….talk about mutli-tasking!

27 y/o manager and having what feels like a quarter life crisis. The consulting grind feels unsustainable for me long term, but I don’t know what else I would even want to do. Problem is that I have a great WLB (probably actually working <30 hours/week) and making decent money - feels like it would be silly to leave, but the monotony of dealing with idiots on a daily basis is taking a mental toll. Anyone else?

Does anybody know what the typical salary range is and total comp for someone starting out as an internal or external wholesaler? If you are one of these, can you share about your experience in terms of whether you liked it or not, work life balance, travel, etc?

What would be examples of cushy industry jobs with good wlb with 200-300k pay check in finance industry? My work is mostly FS so it seems to make sense that I exit in that direction, but I keep hearing that finance in general is less chill than normal corporate sector jobs. Or is that just for IB/PE/HF?

I would gladly take a head of local bank branch or something as the culmination of my career but I fear that dream is too 1950s

Question for my friend at KPMG. Her MDs and Partners have been directing her to eat her hours. If she charges over 45 hours she will get emails from management and when she charges over 65 she got a call from a PPMD. I work at deloitte and have never been told to do this and thought it honestly was illegal. Thoughts? It doesn’t seem right that she’s having to eat those hours and feel scared when she’s working til 10/12 every night.

Currently work in a very unique Wealth Management ops role.

Getting paid 85k base with 40k in bonus plus about 35k~ in OT.

Money isn’t everything but in my late 20s it feels like the only thing important right now.

WLB is next to zero as 60hr weeks are the minimum as of late. Management feels like they are trying to push a few of us out. Was told not to expect much come year end for comp. Any suggestions on finding a new role/pay expectations?

What’s the average salary for a Federal Accenture Analyst

Working on some law firm applications tonight and it sucks that I know that I am so capable and have a strong work ethic but firms can’t see beyond grades or the fact that I didn’t go to a t14 law school or prestigious undergrad. I’ve worked twice as hard and feel like I’ve barely even gotten half as much. It’s discouraging sometimes especially because I worked so hard with pretty much no guidance (first gen, poc, low-income) to get into college and do well and then get into a t30 law school
