Hello All,
I have recently joined FIS Global around end of April. My mother recently met with an accident and she needs to be operated.
I haven't been able to update the anything regarding the insurance part yet on FIS portal.
Will my mother's treatment be covered under the insurance? If yes, what's the procedure for the same? What are the documents that I need to submit in order to claim the amount?
Can anyone please guide?
Is simplify healthcare is good company to join?

Health insurance, 401k match and PTO in that order. I'm lucky that all of them are very generous here. They're among the biggest reasons I haven't left for another job yet.
They are very generous, I wish I was in your organisation ;)

Totally agree! It's not just about the money. I really value flexible hours and good health cover.
Absolutely, in my current role they have been so flexible with childcare and working compressed hours but I worked in other organisations that they were not flexible towards parents at all.
Benefits are money to me, just in a few different steps. I recently took a step back in pay, but my health insurance and retirement match more than made up for it and then some compared to what I had before.
Sometimes seeing the bigger picture helps. I have done that before too and got more benefits but slightly less pay.
I completely agree. As I'm getting older, I'm realizing how important good healthcare, not just adequate healthcare, is. It can make a difference of thousands of dollars every single year.
It does! I didn't realise it myself until I had few medical issue. I think when we are younger we see the pay check only but when you have a family and get older our preferences change.

Insurance, free snacks/coffee, team building events, 401K/stocks and flexibility for some work from home
I like the team building event, unfortunately, don't get that much in our organisation.
