I’ve been told by recruiters, peers, and mentors that I could AD, CW, or I should def pursue becoming a creative technologist. Which is kind and a confidence boost, but I need a job 😓.

In my mind right now I see CD or CT as the long term goal, and that I just need to get my foot back in the door, which means AD for now.

Openings seem to be asking for Des and CW roles, and my book is primarily AD. So I need to adjust to the current demands.

Any advice for short term as well as long term?

I am trying to figure out how to switch to SWE. I have a masters in civil engineering and have a good background in higher level math. It looks like the better coding boot camps are quite expensive. The alternative is another masters in CS which is the same cost as many boot camps. Any recommendations on picking between a coding boot camp and getting another masters degree in CS? I’m looking to get into the best position possible after getting an education in CS (get a job quick and good pay).

Does anyone work/has worked as an AM in the field of Architecture or in store planning? I’m currently in eCommerce/advertising but am speaking with a recruiter for an architecture which would be totally new for me.

I have a in person(online, 4 hours - 4 people) technical interview coming up and I have been practicing my coding for the past 3 weeks. The only thought I've been having is "what if I can't solve the coding question?" I am still fairly new to the software engineer scene and the position is for a level 1 software engineer.
Does it essentially end my chances if at any point I can't solve the question? I mean I will definitely attempt to talk it through, ask question, but no progress in code. 🤷

How would you handle not getting a lunch break when you are a salaried employee treating patients for 40 hours a week? I don’t get documentation time either, but all notes are to be completed the same day. Some of us have reached out to HR and we’re told to discuss it with the regional director, but the regional director says we’d have to come in early or leave late to block out a lunch break. My commute is an hour each way, so I’d prefer not to make my day any longer. Advice?
