I've had a hybrid role for the past 4 years where I get unlimited sick days (well 14 really until fmla kicked in), 3 weeks of vacation, 3 personal days. I am also given the week after Xmas off. if my toddlers are sick I can work at home with them. Interviewing w fortune 500 that offers 15 pto days that have to use for sick days too.Strictly in office job 9-5 and dress bus.prof. These bad benefits? Outdated culture?I am a seasoned professional. Seems tough.

I watched my last company’s culture tank after it got bought by another company. I am so glad I left asap.
Leadership decisions at the mid MD level….
Pretty much feeling the same thing. New managers arrived and never really acknowledged there was a culture. And that was that, more or less. You don't realize how fragile it is until it's undermined.

My leadership just stopped caring about internal promotions and recognition. Brought in all these direct admits at the top and crowded out room for organic growth. it's like they are telling us to just leave
I'm with you on this. When I started my current job, people were relatively invested and cared. Now it feels like the ultimate goal is a promotion and seniority, not helping each other succeed. No one is motivated to show up when you need them or do a complete job.

Totally feel this! it feels people who are getting promoted just play the politics and then are not set up for success, and the people they manage suffer. and those who deserve it and should be the focus of coaching and promotion are getting taken for granted
