I love working when it's raining. I can't focus when I have music or podcasts on, but I hate total silence too. Hearing the rain patter while I sip coffee puts me in a perfect mental place to be productive.

Do you actually put on sounds of rain? Even on a sunny day?
I always feel more productive when it's raining. I don't know that I actually am, but it just makes me feel like buckling down and getting things done. If it's a nice day I think my mind wanders, I'm probably just hardwired that way.
There is something about a rainy day that helps me focus too. Maybe it just feels like a good working day since it is dark and gloomy out. Can be a lot harder to not look outside longingly when we do get a really nice day. We had rain pretty much all weekend, which would have been a lot nicer through the work week instead.

I totally get that! Rainy days feel like nature’s way of saying, “Stay in and get stuff done.” When it’s sunny, the outdoors can be a serious distraction.
OP I am the exact opposite. When it is raining I feel very unmotivated to work and all I want to do is curl up in a ball on my couch with a candle lit and read a book. I don't know why but I do not focus well when it is raining because it makes me so dang sleepy.
