I’ve received an offer from my former company, where I worked as an AE for 5 years. The product is more interesting and the earning potential is much higher, but the role is also more stressful and demanding (targets).
Right now I work as a BDM but I’m torn between staying in a stable but somewhat boring position (cause I don't like so much the product), or returning to a more exciting environment that comes with higher pressure and challenges. Honestly, I’m not sure which path to choose.

Should I transition to a tech sales job? Thoughts on risk vs reward? I am 34 yo, married with a baby incoming. I work at Google Cloud in solutions engineering (I help develop quantitative business cases with sales teams for customers). My cash base + bonus is $220k (going to ignore equity).
