Recruiters ghost. So what. You don't ghost vendors all the time?
There's an outsized supply (vendors, candidates, etc), vs demand.
Don't take it so personal.
No one is taking it personally, Director 1. How many posts have been written saying that a candidate (often, one who is contacted by the agency, not one who is cold-calling recruiters randomly - as your vendor scenario plays) makes it to some stage in the interview or hiring process only to be entirely ignored/dropped without explanation?
To think that’s bullshit is not a sensitivity issue. Closure so the candidate can move on and focus on something else is not an emotionally driven want. It’s the decent, professional way to conduct yourself (and your agency’s business).
Also. This post was intended to provide some levity to an otherwise dismal discussion forum. Didn’t mean to get you so worked up.
