Hi Fishes, Need your advice in choosing between the two. Confused between UBS and Northern Trust. This is for 8 years of experience in Data Engineer profile. CTC is almost same, I am looking to stay longer in my next role (4-5 years), so want clarity on WLB, projects and increment cycles. If you know about any of these 2 organisation, kindly share your input. Any help on this is much appreciated.

Could just be nerves. But if the role is client facing yeah, thats a red flag
True, nerves happen, but the first impression still matters. Especially in client-facing roles where confidence sets the tone.
I'm confident with my opening stories, but sometimes I think that technical questions cover topics that are out of the JD. It depends so much on the tech interviewer and what is their specialization, I've seen this all the time with specific questions that are more of a "show-off" than anything else. Haven't seen this with recruiters at all, I usually almost explaining my story and motivations.
Absolutely, technical questions can vary widely depending on the interviewer’s background. That’s why a clear opening story is so valuable. It anchors the conversation, no matter the curveballs.
