Sharing my experience with Deloitte USI interview and offer negotiation. I gave Deloitte interview 2 months ago. After managerial round I did multiple follow ups and Deloitte didn’t bother to reply. I moved on and got another offer. After 1 month Deloitte came back and asked for documents and didn’t show up for another 1 month. Today HR called and asked my expectations. I have 23.5 in hand so I asked for 26 which she said out of budget. Then I asked 23.5 fixed atleast. Contd… in comments

My YOE is 5.5 and I got offer from capgimini of 14 lpa and the joining date is 19 sept..they are ready to give me 17 lpa if i join early on 5 sept...should i early join or wait for other interviews as currently having only one offer letter.

It's been two months I joined in virtusa and got assigned to jp Morgan client project and now after completing the first task manager is saying since they have budget constraints I have to change another project and give interview for that.
Why at the first place they hired for this project?

Saw a job on LinkedIn applied for it and the CEO of the startup reached out to me saying he was game to move to the next stage of the process. Spoke to hiring manager and they even offered another position which matched my skills. Scheduled a full panel interview. Met with the team had a great chat, Founder even said "I guess you can start right away"..Hiring manager calls later says they'll update then boom that generic email hits my inbox. At this point you're just like arrrrrrgh😩

Applied for a position in Johnson and Johnson Canada. Reached the final round 3 weeks back. After not getting any updates I emailed the HR a couple of weeks back. They responded back telling me that they’ll have an update for me the next week. Again I emailed them on Thursday asking if they have anything for me before the long weekend ( Good Friday & Easter). I'm a relatively junior data engineer (2yoe), the only other engineer (senior) that trained me left about a 6 months ago and I negotiated a nice raise for the extra responsibilities.

My performance reviews have been stellar, but my manager is starting to look to hire a senior to help me deliver projects as we do lack capacity right now.

I feel like I might be missing an opportunity to ask for a promotion and hire a junior instead.
