Currently, I am working in TCS and the company conducted an internal Interview and I cleared that. My role has upgraded and along with that my salary got doubled(2X). But in my payroll it's added under "Payroll Incentive" and my basic pay remains the same. Now if other companies ask for the current CTC can I add "payroll incentive" also or should I say my old salary?

CTC: 6 fixed + 1.26 Variable =7.26 Total
Also 60k joining bonus.

Wipro:

CTC: 7.40 Fixed + 0.6 Variable =8 total

Total YOE: 2+ years (26 months)

Well 🐠, I did it. Finally got a job offer at a brand name tech company. Only took 6 interviews, 2 panel presentations, 1 rescinded job offer, 20+ hours of preparation, 7 months of waiting, and meanwhile getting passed over twice for internal promotion.

Current: Consultant, $135k, 8 yoe (6 yoe in consulting). HCOL city.

It almost feels silly to ask, but my company issues Thinkpad X1 Carbons with 16gb ram and they still crash when I try to save 10mb excel files. I know that there are tricks (like going to manual calc and turning off auto calc at save) but I struggle to believe that crashes on an ostensibly high-end machine for what’s really not a lot of data can be considered normal.
