Definitely going to feel like a loser, but it might be nice to bank 100% salary for 6 months then buy something :-/
Get a roommate or a small studio. No chic wants to come home to the parents
Im doing it now and I find no one has an issue with it since everyone sees the value of saving so much
I'm the girl! So I'm hoping dating / semblance of a social life will still exist if I do it. Thanks for the feedback! I just keep hearing some ppl "flex every weekend" - sounds amazing but doesn't sound smart to pay for an apt for which I never occupy.
Yea your social life is done if you move into your parents
Do it until you can't stand it any more! Lol
And if some girl doesn't understand why you're doing it to save money you don't want her anyway
I'm in DC and even a studio is 2k a month... Just to save that every month would be 👍🏻 thanks for the feedback!

I still sliced and diced when I was at my parents. I say go for it.
If I had parents, I definitely would have done it. Save as much as you can.
I would do anything to not have $1800 rent #sf
I flex every weekend. Def go for it if you live in an expensive city
I've been couch surfing for months...
I'm interested in making the same jump (fed to comm). Tips? How'd you do it...?
Who seriously considers moving back in with parents?! Really?!
I did it, the bought a house. Traveled every week flexed a few times a month and couch surfed on party weekends.
I moved back in with my mom after college and moved out when I got married. It wasn't a hard decision. I only came home to do free laundry 🤗
I only came home during some weekends to do free laundry*
