Just applied to a Legal Coordinator job with a well-known event company (EDM space, LiveNation).
A year and some change experience as a paralegal, 2 BA’s and a minor in related fields, 6 years as a tour photographer/tour manager prior to working in law.

Any advice on how to stand out further? Haven’t had luck with previous LN applications. This is like my dream job - I’d be taking a pay cut for it, but would move tomorrow if they offered me.

I received an offer (28 Lakhs + 3.9 Lakhs incentive) from Novartis for Sr Project Manager yesterday. This was just 13.6% more than my current earnings as Project Manager. I've given the reasons why I deserve at least 30% to HR. In response to that, HR has sent 2nd offer i.e. 29 Lakhs + 4 Lakhs incentive + 50k sign-on bonus. The 2nd offer is just 18.2% higher than my current earnings. Need your suggestion, if I could still negotiate with HR to finalize deal by asking for 25% hike?

I’m a new patent prosecution associate and unfortunately only just now realized that maybe prosecuting patents isn’t something I want to do long term. I loved copyright (and trademark) in law school, but I have loans to pay off. Should I stick it out in my current role to pay them off before I jump ship to a new practice area or will I be pigeonholed forever to patents if I stay here for 2-3 years?
