Interviewing with Apple next week for the roles of Global Supply Manager (GSM) and Worldwide Procurement Analyst in Austin. Does anyone have any tips or advice for the interview? What kind of questions do they ask?
Also, what’s the compensation like in Austin specifically? I would think the compensation would be different than Cupertino. Anyone have any offers or salaries for these positions in Austin?
Job-Hunting reach-out to VC from previous fundraising effort for own startup
I have e-mail archive from 1y ago of my reach-out to 65 VCs in London: we had video calls, they might remember me still, who knows.
I want to send a reply/forward message to the same e-mail thread from abc@gmail.com, saying that I am looking for roles within their VC firm. Is that a good idea?
Or shall I just start new email thread and mention how I know them?

The runner up was willing to go to NYC, and they decided to just take them is my guess
If you were initially open to NYC, why did you have to think about it later?
Rising Star
That’s definitely a possibility, especially if location was a sticking point and they were focused on NYC while you were hoping for DC. Sometimes companies have a strong preference for a specific location due to team dynamics, cost, or other logistical reasons, and even an indication of hesitation can raise concerns for them.
That kind of sucks
People saying one thing in the initial HR screen and then backpedaling without explanation is a big red flag to me. Makes me feel like the candidate was 'playing' us just to get to the next round.
I do my best to shoot straight with candidates. When they don't do the same, I lose interest.
They offered to have me do a whole other interview process with another team. But I have a final round on Friday that if I get, I am likely to take.
The runner-up said yes, and was likely located in NYC
