Has anybody done reimbursement for marriage based greencard process at Deloitte? When do they reimburse you assuming you got approval? Why is maternity leave, policy and other women's issues not important as compared to Juneteenth, coed bathrooms, and all the other issues in the media today? Women are half the population and at an average of 2.1 kids per woman, these are major issues. Are we not vocal enough? Organized enough? Not a serious voting demographic? Too grateful things are better in this generation? What is it? Why does 50% of the population matter less compared to these smaller marginal groups?

Fellow fishes - need some help communicating this one. Hypothetical here: you are a parent and your child got into two schools for undergrad. The first school is a US top 30 University out-of-state, but you have to pay full sticker price ($60k+ per year). The second school is a good in-state university and 20% the cost. If your child goes in-state, you agree to invest the residual ($50k per year) in an S&P 500 fund that releases upon graduation. What is the best outcome for your child?

I had a lot of meetings/interviews with a service line and office I was thinking of transferring. The last time I had a call with a partner was two Fridays ago (10 days). And they told me they’ll discuss and let me know in the next week. I sent a follow up email after my meeting. But haven’t heard anything back. Is it a bad sign? Or should I try reaching out again?
