Hi folks,
I had got an assessment from HSBC . Problem is that the link to the assessment opens to my career page and it is showing 'Access Denied'. There is a mail and a contact no in the same assessment but the mail is showing as invalid and the phone no is less than 10 digits. Whom to approach in this situation? There is no PoC from my side.

Hi Fishes, I have an interview with PwC AC in the coming week. My tech stack is Power BI, SQL, SSRS,SSIS and Tableau. YEO -4 Current CTC is 9 LPA. During the initial call with the recruiter he asked for ny expected CTC and I asked for 17 LPA. Can anyone from PwC comment on this? Is this too much to ask or is this what someone at my current level would get paid at PwC. Please let me know!!!! PwC PwC India Pwc AC Deloitte Deloitte USI

Yes. You should. You can understand their thought process or find out what you did wrong (if anything). If you went through more than 2 interviews I believe you are owed an honest explanation.
I agree with P 1. You have nothing to lose. It’s a good opportunity to let them know you honestly were really excited about the company and the role, and you’d be interested in talking again if this position (or similar) opens up in the future. I didn’t apply to an opening at my current company a few years ago because i wasn’t sure I wanted to leave my firm. A couple years later, a different role opened up in the same dept, which was an even better fit. So it worked out perfectly. Getting the feedback is valuable, and another great door will open in the future for you, either at the same company or somewhere else. And meanwhile, keep getting experience and banking those BigLaw bucks!
You’ll never know what happened…we were all set to hire someone with great credentials and fit then a former Supreme Court clerk applied last minute with powerful references and strong background. (Ended up being great but the other applicant would have been great as well). For all you know the CEOs cousin had applied as well. If opens up again might be worth a shot to try again.
Asking wouldn’t hurt—what can be done now—but I doubt you’d get an honest answer. You’ll likely hear something akin to “we had many highly qualified candidates with not enough spaces to fill, etc.” kind of like if you’ve ever received a rejection letter from one of the colleges or law schools you applied to.
HR isnt going to let them be honest but it doesn’t hurt to ask.
