Just interviewed Friday for grant Thornton got an offer Friday from RSM they gave me the weekend and a few days to think about it and I want to take the offer but want the GT offer much more, how can I try to go about getting rapid feedback on my candidacy already reached out to the recruiter yday morning no reply since, not really trying to accept the offer just to turn around and decline because it’s just an unnecessary hassle. What is my next best step other than just accept the RSM offer?

When is it appropriate to follow up after an interview for a lateral position? Had a screener call 2 weeks ago and then an interview with the partner + senior associate last Thursday where it was mentioned that they would “likely” want me to meet more people. I’m getting anxious but don’t want to bug them!

I think I did a mistake , I tried applying for companies and dont get any calls, got two calls but both of them rejected even before taking an interview that they want immediate joiners , market was ok so I resigned and the hiring got freezed its been 45 days since , but I still dont have an offer dint just got two interviews till now I am trying to get referals , applying in naukri, LinkedIn getting referrals from fish bowl everyday and I am scared now hope I get atleast one offer😔😔

I recommended a candidate for hire to a manager that reports directly to me. This person is a perfect match, but wanted the manager to obviously recommend. It has to be a fit. The manager just told me my recommendation is not her top pick. I feel frustrated because as much as we talk about the position, I wonder if we are mot aligned on criteria. What do I do? Do I push more for the person I want or will I cause an issue with the hiring manager? How do I get her to see this person’s value?

Had my virtual on-site for an S&O L3 role 3.5 weeks ago (NYC, 5 YOE). I haven’t heard back on a decision yet, and was wondering how long it typically takes? I also know that I was one of the very first candidates to interview for this specific role, and there are atleast 2 more people scheduled for onsites. Does the recruiter typically wait for all candidates to finish their onsites before communicating a decision? Or if I haven’t heard back yet, it’s probably a reject?

Rising senior here. Interviewed for McK today and my parents (who I’ve tried to explain the importance of these interviews to) burst into my room in the middle asking me to do a task, right in front of the interviewer, and spent a minute arguing with me when I said I couldn’t.
