Just left CLA as a tax manager/director. Pay was always subpar and the work is the same anywhere you go. My office was great and what kept me there (I was in socal).

Upper mgmt has been some questionable decisions recently. Most notably not allowing you to work within your office anymore. Not sure how you build a strong team/culture like that. Regional manager told me they aren't guna change back and it's not the place for me.

CLA now acts like the big 4. Not worth it.

I want to work for The Walt Disney Company corporate offices. Anywhere. I don't care where there's an office. I want to work for that company. I don't know how to drive in rain or snow, but if they have an office in places that snow, I WILL MAKE THE SACRIFICE 🤣

But I still have questions though 🤔 -

What is the culture like?
What are the work hours?
Does Disney pay for relocation for new hires like some of the FAANG companies do?

I'm at a target uni for Big 4 accounting. I applied for and received an offer for Summer 2023 Risk&FinancialAdvisory - Technology internship w Deloitte. I'd like to get into Big 4 consulting ideally when full-time. I'm an engineering student - I'm not going to be interested in IT audit. Summer 2023 will be the summer after sophomore year, so I'll be declining the full-time return offer and I'll be looking for a different internship after junior year.

Deloitte US just announced layoffs. Any other B4 started layoffs too ?

Which offer should I accept? Currently staff 2 at big 4 in Tax with CPA license. I want to leave tax ASAP. Both are public companies +1B in revenue and same salary. Offer 1 - staff revenue accountant so reading contracts, speaking with the sales team and legal team, a lot of work at the end of the months to close books and reconcile transactions to make sure we are ASC 606 compliant. This track usually leads to director of revenue. Offer 2 - internal audit staff so SOX and compliance projects.
