Just realized i messed something up and have to redo all the testing for something. What is the best way to break the news to my manager?

Hi community, humbly seeking professional HR advice. I recently joined my company’s HR team. In an informal conversation, a senior HRBP, considered a peer, called 2 of our fellow HR colleagues “worthless.” I should have rebuked her then & there but was so caught off guard. This person is 20 years my senior. In the same conversation this person advocated for me on a separate matter & complimented my performance. I am not sure what course of action to take at this time. Distraught & unsure.

I'm a cashier. We just got a new manager, and she's making things really hard for us. She starts work at 4:30am and leaves around 2:30pm, but she still expects us to stay until 6pm and work on the weekends! She gives us really long shifts and doesn't give us much time for breaks. And when we ask her about it, she gets mad.

How do I deal with this? I've never been a yes person and I don't preach this to my reports. I don't know what to do. Help?

I’m a new analyst at a PE firm, and my associate keeps blaming me for things she does wrong. Like she will tell me I made the wrong change, even though she is the one who changed it. Or in calls with other people, she won’t take responsibility for things that she told me to do that the other person calls out as wrong. How can I handle this situation without making her mad but also not letting her step all over me?

Hi ! I have gotten an offer via email for what I believe is level 9 data visualization specialist in the dc area. I have a masters and 3.5 years of consulting experience. I’ve gotten an initial offer and trying to get some context on what the range is for this and whether I should push for more or accept. We had evaluations and normally we have annual raises. I think my salary is under market value at $68k (plus OT) in Los Angeles (5 years of experience). When I asked about a raise, I was told “when you think about it at your level 5k to 10k doesn’t really matter it’s the long term goal that matters”.
