Exited to red hat from consulting recently. Best decision I've made by far. I love it here. The culture is amazing and ibm hasn't tried to infringe on the culture.

For Deloitte?
Interviewing with them to leave Deloitte
I’d try to find some people that can speak to the integration of Red Hat into ibm. IBM is notorious for destroying cultures of companies they acquire.
So far it sounds like they have been hands off, but it’s only been a year. A slight shift on more metrics and more sales.
What's money like in that role?
$145-165k + some stocks
Coach
My tip having worked for IBM:
1. Google the company
2. Laugh
3. run as far away as you can
That is a valid point!
They like 2-min stories and expect candidates to use the star method. Emphasize outcomes and tie it back to the job you're pursuing. They will try to get to know you as a person, so have some high level info to share, even if it's just casual talk about your city or a hobby you enjoy.
The recruiter should give you more tips to be successful before scheduling your next round interviews.
Good luck!
