Stages of a consultant
Hi All,
Persistent Systems is giving 10% variable on gross annual CTC. HR says you would receive minimum 70% of variable pay every month and remaining 30% will credited once a year at the end.
Does anyone has idea on this? Can I believe this and include 70% variable in my take home

We need more teachers down here in AZ! If you're in the area, or moving to the area, or even thinking about moving to the area (😅) feel free to check some of these out and apply. I would recommend going through the schools website, but there are multiple schools hiring! Cannot provide referrals, can provide recommendations for a good place to get a drink to celebrate your new job.

Does anyone get recurring work dreams?

D1 true. But if you can't find a use for a $300 travel credit for an entire year as a traveling consultant, then you're doing something wrong.
The fee is technically $150 because you get a $300 travel credit. If that's out of your budget as well, get the sapphire preferred for $95
Semantics but... it's technically $450, effectively as low as $150. Important distinction because not everybody can fully utilize the travel credit
D2's apparently a much faster typer than me.
I think they waive the fee for the first year. If you don't think you can afford what effectively comes to $150 a year after that, then just get the Chase Freedom card and enjoy your 5% cash back every time you fill up your 2001 Honda Civic.
Bro do you uber? That shit counts for the travel credit
@McK - leveraging what exists already ;)

Also parking lots, toll bridges and highways, taxis, limos, airplane tickets (one would cover it), rental cars...
Fully utilizing it shouldn't be hard...any spend with airlines, hotels, motels, timeshares, campgrounds, car rental agencies, cruise lines, travel agencies, discount travel sites, and operators of passenger trains, buses, taxis, limousines, ferries, toll bridges and highways, and parking lots and garages does qualify
I think I get paid too much, never crossed my mind this was something to consider for longer than it took to apply as fast as possible
What is your budget?
Oh I agree. I would blow way past $300. But there are some out there who wouldn't.
