[Just venting] I booked a multi-city itinerary for about $2k (personal travel). Last week, I had to change the date of the first leg by a few days for a work reason, so I moved myself to premium plus and didn’t really mind that the fare difference was another $2k (all within policy). Now the work thing changed again and United is saying it will cost almost $3k in fare difference to revert to my original itinerary. Airfare is SUCH a joke!! And now I’ve been on hold with the 1K line for 1.5hrs 😩

Need advice. Have some credit card debt that I’ve been working to pay off. Have made progress but want to lower it quickly. We have dual income, with a house (~$300k in equity), 1 kid and 1 on the way. I’ve looked into debt consolidation via HELOC but also have ~$80k in vested equity in my company that I haven’t touched. Get equity refreshes every year. Would it be smarter to cash out $15k-$20k of that to pay debt vs. a HELOC at ~5% given that will still require mthly payments

I come to find out that deep, hidden within the website of the hypothetical client, they use the service already. Do I roll into the final interview and play dumb or do i present and then come clean?
