Anyone work with Rich Russo at Arnold before? Had an interview with him and it was weird. As a Hispanic woman, he said I couldn’t be that good if he never heard of me before. When I asked how important diverse hires are, I got an answer from him that was pretty shocking.... something along the lines of how hiring diverse candidates lowers the bar for creative work because they don’t have the same education other [white] creatives have. Maybe I’m reading into him wrong but it was cringe-worthy.
I often see posts about people getting 350K exit or 450K or more in FAANG. Are those strategy folks from Big 4 or are there cyber folks too getting these exits ? I am making close to 200k as M3 in cyber . Not able to anything that would pay more than this in non-consulting ? What roles should I target ?
I wanted to celebrate two firsts in my career! For the first time I have gotten 2 job offers in the same period. I was getting underpaid at my current position, $80k. I have been interviewing for 5 months, and first I got an offer for 25% More (100k) and negotiated it up to 105k which was my first time negotiating a salary (scary!) Last night I got an offer for lead designer 130k which is 60% more than current salary. The market is hot! If you’re unhappy get out there and interview!!

Looking to add some more income - are any of you work on side hustles or your own small business? What do you do? How's it going?
I’ve been in my current role for 9 months but am actively interviewing for roles at a 50%+ pay increase. I just received a promotion and won’t know comp until 10/5 but know it’s nowhere close to the other positions. Is it wrong to leave so close to being promoted? Will I burn bridges?
An Accenture SM with 12 years of practical experience in consulting and analytics should land at which level in Google? L7? L8? Does Google hire for leadership positions from Consulting or typical demotes people one level down. Got interviewed for a GCP position for L5 and was pretty disappointing

I was talking to a first year at a different consulting firm who mentioned that even as a first year, he gets plenty of project staffing options. Is this the norm? I got pigeonholed early
What's the typical salary analysts who get promoted to consultant? I've heard a few figures and beginning to think they low balled me as a direct hire consultant

Upvote if you think airlines should award miles for delay time, in ADDITION to miles flown!
First it was Deloitte then Accenture and now KPMG will KILL Performance Ratings. They're super subjective so I'm a fan of the move. How has it worked out for you guys?
