Layoff rumors are going around my office. It sounds like the higher ups are wanting to cut staff so they can afford to invest more in AI. If this is true, this would be the second time I was laid off in under 18 months. I'm pretty pissed that I spent all of that time and money in school, earning an MBA, just to be one of the first people replaced by a bot. How am I supposed to compete with AI?

How is the hiring scenario of MBB at ISB? How many years of experience in a candidate are they willing to accept (assuming relevant pre mba role, for instance, say in ZS)?

Just got another rejection... Is exiting to FAANG or MB really this hard? Trying to go tech.. or mbb, but not getting anywhere. I have 2 masters (mba, ms) from top schools, been in consulting for over 10 years, I am confident that I know my stuff well..but still I keep getting rejected. Interviewed with Google, Amazon, Cisco, McKinsey, and a few others and every-time there is something that is not a match... are the hiring managers looking for like 100% match? That will never happen!!!

I am being asked to move to Richmond, VA for Sr. Mgr. Supply Chain Analytics role in an organization that is dire need of help.

I am currently at 146k TC, they are offering 190k TC.

I originally wanted a director level role to set the strategy, process, and tools.

Instead I am just being asked to develop the tools.

My hypothesis is a clear lack of strategy and no accountability for process compliance will mean any tools developed will fail.

Would you take job in those circumstances?
