I have always rolled over my 401k accounts when switching firms. It helps keep everything in the same place.
Roll it to an IRA. You have more freedom with what you can invest in versus your new employer's 401K.
You can always roll it to an IRA too. I didn’t have to pay anything when I was rolling over mine
No you don’t have to pay for a roll over and there are no tax implications either
Be careful cause if you use Fidelity there is a $50 fee they dont really mention when rolling from a 401k to an IRA. You should read the language on the website.
Just left but not moving 401k - fund costs much lower here.
