AKQA NY thoughts?
Hey Guys,
I got a call from Infosys HR on 16-September-2022 that I have been successfully selected for the job position of Test Analyst at Infosys, as per our conversation I have to receive an offer letter within 15 days, but I haven’t received it till now.
Now They have sent a mail that your Candidature is on hold. Is this happened with anyone else also.
Please do suggest on this guys.

If you honestly felt like you had an obligation to report it, you would’ve done it three years ago when it happened. Don’t get me wrong, you should still do it. It’s just going to look a little petty that you’re reporting it right when you’re leaving and when that person is up for senior manager rather than when it happened.
Report it. I have zero tolerance for that shit. The firm will thank you. He’s a lawsuit ready to happen (not to mention terrible press for the firm if it gets out that they knew and kept him around).
You definitely should. This is unacceptable
One of our team members was gay, and the abusive team member will be up for promotion to senior manager soon. Do I have an obligation to send these to HR before I leave? I don’t feel people with such close mindedness should be leading the firm.
Report it now. No more delays.
Yeah, why didn’t you report this then?
EY 6, who cares what the reason is? It's better late than never. The important thing is that the right thing is done.
It’s never too late to make things right
I didn’t want to get dragged into a mess my first year at the firm. Selfish? Sure. As you can imagine, working for them my first year out of college was eye opening, and I was already struggling to handle their management style. Or lack there of...
We lose clout with our clients when our people “lead” this way. References to abominations and burning in hell because someone has a particular preference for a partner? You don’t say those things.
Please report ASAP. Although it’s been a few years, you should definitely say something because if this individual is up for promo, it’s going to affect a larger group of folks (in a negative way).
Motivation was to keep a low profile, as I was already questioning whether EY was a fit for me based on my experience with my supervisor. Again, I know it’s selfish, but I was struggling too.
You should report but I think you should also reflect on your delay and perhaps in the future if you encounter something else you might make a different choice.
I am gay and out. EY prides itself on diversity. I could even give you the name of the person in charge of LGBT diversity at EY. They take this very seriously. You should report it. You will be doing your firm a favor
As a gay man, I want to say thank you to all those commenters here who supported OP and the OP him/herself for making our workplace inclusive. This gives me hope.
“See something, say something"
Fair enough OP but don’t hold out any longer
Send it
Reporting it late doesnt make it any less of an issue. Time is not a factor, especially since he’s still working there! If i were you i would do it
Report it - that type of intolerance is not welcome at our firm. Reach out to D&I representative in your area.
I understand the perceived pettiness of it. It’s difficult to articulate just how uncomfortable I was working for them those first few years. We all were. The thought of then going to HR for a different situation seemed the least of my worries at the time. I simply asked whether or not I have a responsibility to turn it over. I’m now questioning my own motives and not as confident in my next move (or if the Firm will do anything). A lot of people don’t feel they have a voice when they’re being barked at during 80+ hour work weeks. It takes time to find.
Last week’s webcast prompted me to reread the Skype messages, and yet now I feel guilty for not doing anything. Petty and guilty.
