Hi fishes! The hiring manager has asked me for salary expectations of B6 Data Analyst and my experience is 3.5 yrs with a CTC of 6.65. Considering I have to move to Bangalore l'm thinking of asking 13 or 14.. is it a big ask? If so, what do you think is a good ask? Please help. Thanks in advance :)

Was in a similar situation. Left Accenture couple of days back for a relatively better WLB.
Cons - No branding. Lesser perks.
Pros - Mental health! More time for myself.
Worked 15 years in industry, 2 in consulting.... sounds standard for work anywhere, especially if you care about your job or growth. It’s not awesome. But the grass isn’t always greener elsewhere. At your stage, find a good manager/people lead and stick with them. Working with people who support and champion you will get you through the challenges and help you figure out your plan as you go.
Man.- felt the same way my first year, I hated my life at EY strategy consulting working 60 hour weeks. I was miserable. My parents didn’t get it, they weren’t in consulting so I did what I’m telling you. Do what is best for you. It’s ok to leave consulting for better work-life balance. I did and it made a world of a difference. Lost 20 pounds, feel much happier at my new firm, log off at 5pm and never work weekends
Which firm did you exit to?

Get outdoors! Walk in a park, go for a run, go to a dog park, go do some yoga.
I block my calendar for 45 minutes around lunch time to get outside and it always makes me feel better and makes the day feel shorter
Thanks in advance!
