How about switching from Amazon to EY.

Do you know what you want to do? You might as well through out there every career path... Engineer at SpaceX, Tenured professor at Harvard, President of a country, etc etc etc
Pondering all 3. Currently at MBB, and these 2 seem like the next possible steps but I’m not sure which one is better or if staying where I am is the move. I have excluded other options because I have ruled them out.
How technical are you? For me the choice was between MBB and PE. I don’t have the tech knowledge or experience for a FAANG PM role. Amazon is the only Big Tech to hire non-tech PMs but the WLB / comp isn’t the same as the other players and the PM role is not a typical PM role based on what Blind users say.
In this case, it was much easier to differentiate between the options based on comp and interests.
Very different roles but I interviewed for both LMM PE and FAANG and would take FAANG time and time again.
Faang PM
Pays much more at the pre-Partner level and WLB is infinitely better
Pros / cons of LMM PE?
faang
Does the LMM PE fund pay much more than FAANG PM? If not, makes no sense to take that offer. At most PE funds, you're giving up a protected weekend and your weekdays are also a lot busier
Mentor
These three careers are very different roles, cultures, WLB, and skillsets. Candidly, unless you are in your first year of college you should be able to give more direction to yourself, and it sounds like you are just listing prestigious positions.
I’d recommend doing some soul searching on what you really want in a career. Do you live for work or want more balance? What type of work environment suits you? What type of work are you passionate about. Then re-make a list from scratch based on its affinity to your goals.
