What are some great ways to get into recruiting/ HR? I have some hiring /training experience (never really been in HR just assisted in certain aspects ) but it seems to never be enough to get my foot in the door with companies I’ve applied for. What are some company’s you all know of that are willing to take a chance on someone in my shoes?

How long did it take you to receive your first promotion? I have 3 years of work experience, currently at my 3rd agency, and third associate position. Four people on my brand team have been promoted (across levels and departments, but none in PM). I'm getting sick of being pumped up with empty praise if others are actually being rewarded with accolades.

I applied for a role a few days ago and found the relevant hiring manager today via LinkedIn. Should I send a follow up mail/introduce myself to this person. Would it leave a good impression or come across as desperate?

I have been offered from NTT data and a week ago they gave me a call to check if i can join early.. i said i am ok to join early if NTT is ready for buyout. They said they will come back on it and a day ago i can see that the recruiter has posted a job opening in naukri with the similer set of experience with what i have and i am little skeptical that will they revoke my offer. After obviously ignoring this for years, we are finally trying to do it before "it's too late" for both children.
