Great offers in this market. OW followed by S&
Pick the one where you got along with people better between the two
OC&C small and not a well recognised brand, EYP on a downward trend. Actual strong T2 are OW, S&
OC&C is pretty strong in the UK market not very well known outside. If your plan is to be in Europe then it’s a good company to work for albeit they only focus on 4 sectors. Heard only good things about them with excellent pay and culture
OW is primarily known for FS but still strong and reputed. If you are looking globally strong S& is my pick
Feel free to DM to understand S& work culture, type of project etc
DM'ing now, thanks!
Post MBA?
Yes indeed, engagement manager-level with past experience leading consulting teams
Team fit and type of work fit I think.
What sort of work are you focused on?
That's kind of the crazy thing - all these groups are pretty small; so each has really broad mandates as far as industries go. In a couple of cases it's more post-deal value creation, which I enjoy, but again, spans industries; and those types of projects certainly exist at the other firms as well (just mixed in with some diligences too vs. being siloed). All-in-all there are some slight benefits based on type of work; but I've found team fit to be very different and I think I might optimize on that based on having to spend 10-16 hours per day at work! Might as well get on well with the people you work with, after all
EY-P had a few RIFs in the past few years though I know they're hiring again. They have comparable comp to S& and were known for a chiller culture, though the guy who told me that got laid off since...
S& was not impacted by PwC's layoffs. Most the folks I know of were on the PwC side and either Product oriented or honestly just terrible.
I dont know much about OC&C so wont speak to it.
OW is probably similar to S& but I don't know enough to comment. The two people I know who swapped to OW (from S& and PwC) went into the PE group and Aerospace. They both left at around 2 years.
