Looking for Deloitte v EY medical benefits intel. I work for EY, my wife works for Deloitte. Trying to choose a provider. Anyone have experience with both plan offerings, and any insight into which is better?

I mean, the biggest differences are going to be your premiums and deductibles, which is information you should have. Both are going to work with an insurer that has a widespread and easily accessible network

Oh yeah if you have specific plan benefits or questions about your personal situation, your HR or benefits admin will have more info than fishbowl does. For what it’s worth we had Aetna and were extremely happy with their maternity care coverage.

Can I ask what plan has better rates/coverage? Considering a scenery change in the medium future

Neither of you are able to make calls into your plans to get more information on your specific questions?

like

As most of the other comments here your companies will have this info, not Fishbowl… at Deloitte there’s a page to very easily compare plans. I’m not sure what more you’re looking for…

So EY has this maternity nurse program through UHC. Has proved very difficult to understand if similar programs are offered through Deloitte. I guess the initial question was not targeted enough, but that’s the challenge we’re running into.

For those of you in healthcare related account management, what is your healthcare background? I am clinical and getting ready to hire a higher level account manager. I am really biased toward people with clinical/in hospital experience because, quite frankly, healthcare is a different beast - lots of hand holding and change management. I don’t want to miss the right person because of my bias, so im wondering how many healthcare related AMs have healthcare/clinical experience… thanks in advance!
