I’m an L6 SDM at Amazon but a Meta recruiter sent me an M2 sdm job description. I have all the XP I need from previous job experience but does Meta keep your same level as Amazon? Meaning if I am an L6 at Amazon am I automatically interviewing at M1 or can I jump to an M2?Amazon Facebook (Meta)

Acronym soup is neat and all but nothing is as valuable as experience.
What would you recommend? Getting CFE? Another certification? Or just trying to get on some projects to get experience?
Thanks PWC1. Not trying to just build up my signature, I would have gone into forensics in college if it had been an option, but back then it was just tax or audit.... I have heard the CFE is not very valuable, but not sure you can just step into the fraud area without some sort of additional training.
At the Sr mgr level it will be difficult to jump in due to billing rate. Personally I think the cpa is the most useful and all the rest are fluff. Maybe you can talk to your local forensic team about your interest. If you have an industry skill set maybe that can be parlayed into an advisor role on an investigation which would allow you to participate and learn.
I totally get it, thank you.
